The Bridge — May Service Project

Our attorneys—Christian Cowart, Charles Wallace, and Anjie Vichayanonda.

As part of our #OneFutureInitiative, we dedicate 2.5% of our time to service projects in our community. On May 30, 2023, attorneys Christian Cowart, Charles Wallace, and Anjie Vichayanonda volunteered at The Bridge, a homeless recovery center in Dallas County. We served cupcakes to residents of The Bridge to celebrate May birthdays and organized donations and work uniforms.

The Bridge is located in downtown Dallas and is open 24 hours daily to provide basic needs services, along with access to healthcare, income alternatives, and long-term housing to individuals without a home. In the last year, the organization served over 6,700 individuals. The Bridge has an emergency night shelter that serves 250 people each night and transitional housing for 150 residents. Through generous donations, The Bridge also provides hundreds of residents with three meals a day and hundreds of day guests with two meals a day. It also offers a wide variety of services focused on getting residents back on their feet such as employment services, laundry services, educational activities, internet access and an on-site library, a barber shop and hair salon, healthcare, and a dog kennel. If you know of someone who may need these services, please have them call (214)670-1507 or visit The Bridge in-person at 1818 Corsicana Street, Dallas, TX 75201.
